Women United Blessings in Boxes 2022

Welcome to the 2022 Women United Blessings in Boxes Giveback Opportunity! This is where you can sign up to sponsor one of 50 children in need of holiday gifts this year. These are children at Hillandale and Upward Elementary Schools or Hendersonville Middle School, and their immediate siblings.
Please select a child you would like to sponsor by clicking "give this gift." Siblings in the same family are identified by the same Family number, i.e., Family #101 Sue, Family #101 Erin, etc. If you would like to select one child, please click the one you want. If you would like to select a whole family, please select all the children that have that family’s number. The description box lists what has been requested and clothing sizes. We ask that donors try to purchase several items on a child’s wish list. Some donors enjoy shopping together for one child to get most of the requested items.
Please provide your name and email address. Do not click the “Surprise” box or we will not know that you have selected that child! You will receive an immediate confirmation email from "sokind@biologicaldiversity.org." Check your spam or junk folders if you don't see the email right away. In that confirmation email, you can click the link titled "Women United Blessings in Boxes 2022" if you need to check back and see the details for the child you selected.
It is very important that each child's unwrapped gifts be in a sealed garbage bag. Each child must have their own bag. Place a paper tag with the family number and child's name (For example, Family #101 Sue) inside the bag AND place an additional tag on the outside of the bag with this same information. Please purchase a roll of wrapping paper for each child's gifts as well, and bring that with you when you drop off the gifts.
Gifts can be brought to our Holiday Social event between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1 at The Barn at Tall Oaks, 28 Bradley Road in Hendersonville. Women United members will accept your gifts and get them checked in, and then you can join the festivities. If you are not planning to attend the event, you may bring your bagged gifts to the United Way offices at 722 Fifth Avenue West between 8:00am and 4:30 pm on Monday, November 28, Tuesday, November 29, or Thursday, December 1.
