All we want for our wedding is to see your smiling face enjoying Iowa! If you really want to give us a gift, the gift we would like most of all is some help setting up and cleaning up. The registry has information on ways to help out, and a list of charities we support. Thank you and hope to see you there!
Would anyone like to help decorate for the wedding? The wedding decorations will be simple, but we will need some help decorating on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
As a Girl Scout, Cassie learned to always leave a place better than when she arrived. We will need some help on Sunday morning to take down wedding decorations.
Calling all dog lovers! We'll be a bit occupied on the day of the wedding, so we need someone to keep an eye on our dog, Adele, and make sure she doesn't eat anyone's dinner. ;) Adele is a really mellow dog, and she loves going to parties!
There will be a lot of kids at the wedding! It would be great if someone would volunteer to watch the kids for a bit and give the parents a chance to dance!
We will have a wedding photographer, but it would be great if someone could set up a tripod and videotape the ceremony and maybe part of the dancing!
This is one of Cassie's favorite charities. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives.
Jonathan's granddad gives a goat to a family as a Christmas gift to Jonathan and Cassie, and it is one of their favorite Christmas gifts.
Help empower people around the world by providing a microloan. Jonathan and Cassie have been lending money to entrepreneurs in South America through Kiva.
We love our new home in Seattle, and we like to take advantage of Washington's natural beauty by hiking the trails here. The Washington Trails Association (WTA) is instrumental in ensuring that Washington has wonderful trails for us to enjoy. We're members of the WTA and have spent a week each summer doing trail maintenance with the WTA.
Cassie has been volunteering at animal shelters since she was in middle school, and she walks the dogs at the Seattle Animal Shelter every week. The volunteers give loving care to the animals and help them find their forever home like our adopted dog, Adele.
